Meet Blake Anderson, MSW, RSW, BA | Therapist
Toronto | Leslieville | Online Across Ontario
I’m Blake Anderson—a runner, music-lover, weekend videographer, and Registered Social Worker with 13 + years of clinical experience helping individuals, couples, and families untangle narcissistic abuse and high-conflict dynamics. When I’m not guiding clients, you’ll likely find me training for my next 10K, shooting city-scape footage, or re-reading a favourite depth-psychology text under a maple tree in the Beaches.
My Clinical Niche
- Dysfunctional or narcissistic family systems (scapegoat, golden-child, no-win roles)
- Post-narcissistic-abuse recovery in romantic partnerships and co-parenting
- Anxiety, depression, and grief that so often ride shotgun with complex trauma
How I Work
I blend Bowen Family Systems (differentiation & genograms) with Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, CBT reframing, and evidence-based Gottman Method tools. Sessions feel equal parts insight-oriented and skills-driven: one week we may map a generational trauma triangle; the next we’ll rehearse a boundary script or design a 12-week goal from my Personal Manifesto framework.
What to Expect
- Session 1–2 | Rapport & Road-Mapping – We explore your story, roles, and top pain points.
- Weeks 3–8 | Active Intervention – Deepen self-regulation, rewrite limiting beliefs, and install practical boundary rituals.
- Ongoing | Integration – Tailor pace to your goals; many clients shift to bi-weekly or monthly “maintenance” once momentum is solid.
You’ll also receive free access to two self-paced video courses:
- Scapegoat Recovery – 50 bite-size lessons to neutralize toxic family roles.
- Design Your Personal Manifesto – Craft a mission-driven life plan rooted in your values.
